Scored this Rock Island WW2 rebuild--barrel marked USMC 6-41 with the Sedgley logo, sight hood marked Sedgley, ser# etched on bolt, stock almost mint w/no cartouches(USMC typical), bore mint, few brownish spots on receiver. Took it to a gunshow, and got tired of people saying it's only a rebuild. Anybody got ideas of how much it's worth??

If you're a Marine, it is worth a lot of nostalgia.

If you're talking cash, it is worth what someone will be willing to pay for it. For exactly the right person, that could be substantially more than a run-of the-mine re-built Springfield. For every one else...well you already have a clue to that.

My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still.

Certainly no expert on Springfield's, but have bought and sold a few over the years and in today's market, the rifle you describe I would venture a price range of 650.00-$900.00
You see a fair number of 03-A3's in good or better condition, but the 03's are becoming scarce. As for being a re build, to find an 03 with original barrel, stock, etc., is uncommon and to collector's they do fetch a premium.

I sold a Sedgley complete action, with the Enfield bolt recently for several hundred dollars.

I've read the Blue Book lists a 100% rifle for $5000.00
