We hosted an AFS student from Norway this year. She and another AFS student from Germany asked if I would take them shooting. After getting permission from their parents, They got their chance. I hope these photos come through.











I know they enjoyed themselves, hopefully they will return home with a positive attitude towards guns and gun owners.

Once while at a friends deer lease, 2 of the guys had their teen age daughters with them.

They had never shot a gun before... and wanted to.

So, with their daddys permision, I had them shoot a few of mine, including an M1-A with Tracers at night into our lake [perfectly safe].

They loved it, and several pictures were taken by the dads.

However, I later learned that the Moms had seen the pictures, and were very MAD

Seems that they told the Dads, "You can take the daughters to the deer lease, just do not let her touch a "GUN".


The "girls" did have a great time, and they loved shooting.

Wish I could have got their moms to the deer lease.

Sounds like your uncle is "the" Bob Dole.

Fine job! Great to hear and see others sharing in our sport - it then broadens and encompasses others into 'our' sport and that is a good thing.
My daughter hunted and shot with me, then with her husband, at least until the grand kids arrived. Now she does not have much time to devote to other than being a Mother but time will tell, time will tell.

now that he is going to be the big high school freshman this year.. and now he has his own 30/06....

Seafire Jr. has good taste! She will be going back to Norway in a couple of weeks. After nearly a year in the States, She is not at all happy about going home.

By the way guys, not only did the good lord bless her with certain attributes, but she turned 18 in early April, so don't feel bad about having "thoughts"
She spends A LOT of time by or pool, and owns nothing but string Bikinis.

She has a new "Stars & Stripes" one and wants me to get a picture of her with the "bad ass gun" (AR15) as she calls it.
I suppose I could post one here............unless it would offend anyone.

It wouldn't offend me at all to see that hipsy blonde in a buttfloss thong. Bring it on!! Can you get some rear-view shots, too?

The foriegn exchange students that have been in our area the last few years have all been from Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and a few from Russia, Ukraine, and Georgia. They all seem to enjoy the Midwest, after they get over the shock of the heat in August. Most wanted to go to the West coast, but get over the dissapointment!
