I am restoring an all matching M38 Swede(1915) that was bubbazied with drilling and tapping and had a sporter bolt handle welded on and am looking for a rear sight leaf with the slide. It looks like the pin was knocked out and left the base sweated onto the barrel. Can anyone please help, I have checked Gun Parts, Sarco and a few others with no success. Thanks for any assistance.

Now you only need the thingy that slides on the ladder but unfortunately sold out now.

I can usually find what I need for military rifles in the Brownell catalog. They have a pretty good listing. I was having a fit with my M96's because of the rear sight. Aparently they can be set for a minimum of 200 yards. I generally shoot the older mausers open sights at 50 and 100 yards. I don't see well beyond that distance. It was giving me fits. Brownells fixed me right up. Best wishes.
