Steve E.Lake City 7.62 x 39mm
Anyone here have or had any experience with the 7.62 x 39 ammo put out by Lake City several years ago? How much did they make and how long.

dpcdYes we had lots of it for foreign weapons familiarization when I was at Ft Stewart, 24th ID. In 1981.
I think they made it for Viet Nam, and you do not tool up to make less than many millions of it.

theback40That's interesting! I have a bunch of sterile headstamp 7.62x39 ammo, and wondered about it. I thought it looked like Winchester cases, maybe it's Rem though.
