uhh.....to me everyone needs to have at least one SKS, they are about the funnest guns you can get to shoot. Ammo is about as cheap as a 22 lr. everyone I go shooting with wants to shoot mine and always say they are goning to have to get one. They arn't that good shooting paper usually about 2-3moa. but hey mine seems to hit just about anything I point it at and with little to no recoil it is a joy to shoot. the chinease SKS's seem to be going for the most money because no more can be imported. You are prolly looking at a yugo model, with grenade launcher correct?? these to me are the best sks varient as they have all milled parts. 175$ isn't a bad price for an unissued gun from a dealer, but as for me I have a C&R license and I wouldn't pay near that.

You can get them for under $100, plus about $10 shipping. Go to www.gunboards.com, and visit the sites of their sponsors. Southern Ohio Guns has them for $104, and one of the other sponsors is under $100.

The SKS is the adult Ruger 10-22.... total blast to shoot, cheap, reliable, and fairly accurate.

Denton must have a C&R licence as those are the prices I could get with mine. it sure is nice to just have something shipped to your door and not have to hassle with all the paperwork and BS

hey snowmaker, sorry to hear about your blizzard. When I was in the service, I got stranded on the Pa. turnpike in a snowstorm. Had to spend the night in my car along with hundreds of other people 'till the snowplows came the next morning. I couldn't wait to get back to south Texas. BTW we're hovering around 80 degrees here this week. Although, it might be a little nicer to be in Pa. around July and August when here it'll singe the hair off a billy goat. Have a good day, Rojelio.
