I had French 3 years in school - not nearly enough to engage in a conversation. Anyway it´s a good refresher and a very good read. Thanks for posting!

If we could have had that kind of stuff to read, I might have paid attention in my 2 years of French.

Neat to see this kind of stuff.

Thanks!

3 years Latin, 2 Spanish. Now you want me to read French. Cool pictures. I think I got about 1 word in 8 or 10. Who designed the 9 mm? It was very Browning like, John Moses.

The MAC 50 / MAS 50 is derived from the PA 35 S designed by MAS, the state factory of Saint Etienne.

More French. Cool Thank you for the link. What I could figure out was very interesting, but I would not say I can read French yet.

Another interesting piece of history http://pagesperso-orange.fr/Armes-Historiques/FRANCE/PA35A/PA35A.html
the PA 35 A became the Pistolet modèle 49 aka SIG P 210
