trying to find any history on my rifle. every site i have found shows variations of the rifle, but really no ways of IDing which i have. Has five faceted barrel, top of barrel has TERNI on top facet. Left top facet (side opposite of bolt) has 4F 4222, left facet has PL in oval and what appears to be a shield with crown on top stamped into it,
Right top facet (bolt side) 1933 XI, Right Facet has F then a symbol that looks like a P with the top of the p removed. Left side of reciever has SG stamped in an oval, and what appears to be two keys, cannons, or something crossed with a crown on top. bolt handle also has the PL mark where it meets bolt cylinder. carbine barrel, adjustable sights with markings from 6-20(hundred meters?) stock appears to have been modified, no handguard, barrel band, and appears to have been shortened on the front end. any help, thoughts, ideas are greatly appreciated
