Shared a coulple good days off between guiding. I t has been a long time since i had hunted a bear for myself. First day out in one of my honey holes I tagged out on a 6'10 giant, even a beautiful dark chocolate boar.
Today we spent the afternoon fishing one of the world class lakes behind the ranch. 21 rainbows landed in 3 hours with another 20 or so lost. All caught on fly gear.
A pretty good couple of days off.

I took the next day to look for a bear for my nephew. this would be his first big game animal. We found him an old boar with worn out teeth, not the biggest bear in the woods but a beauty for his first.
An action packed 3 days

I would say judging by his teeth he was only 8-10 years old.
