I've been enquiring about outfits for a bear hunt in 09 or even 08 if there is an opening.
Initially I was thinking a spring hunt, but I'm willing to go whenever they take us.

It seems to be a bit hit & miss in the Yukon with bears, and of all the outfits I contaced, only 2 replied. Jensen never got back to me.

Dickson gave me a list of thier clients and I called some of them, it seems they are a great outfit, but none of the clients took bears, and very few even saw them. No one I spoke to saw a mae bear. They were all after sheep and moose.

Can anyone suggest an outfit for the kind of hunt I enquired about in the last post, not neccessarily in the Yukon, maybe BC?

I have checked with a couple outfitter friends and found out that one of them just recently had a cancellation for a grizzly bear hunt next spring. He has a fantastic territory and its all horseback hunting, in some beautiful wilderness within the Rocky Mts in southeast BC.

If you are interested, PM me soon and I'll get you in touch with him. G-bear hunts in BC are usually sold out quite a ways in advance and my friend said this won't last long.
