tr_405, it would help if you specified which outfitter or outfitters you are considering. Or maybe let us know what you are looking to hunt for in BC?

I believe he is referring to Back Country Guide Outfitters, who have a territory north of Prince George and another new one near Tumbler Ridge.

I have never used them (I am a resident) and I am not familiar with their Prince George territory. I don't think I know anyone that has used them either, so I am not much help on this one.

Cheers
Canuck

Oops...my bad homer
I assumed "BC" meant British Columbia, not Back Country Guides.
Sorry tr_405, I cant help you there, as I have never used an outfitter to hunt black bear. I am not sure about British Columbia, but I know Alberta has a website listing reputable and professional Outfitters and guiding outfits. Maybe check into this beforehand. It cant hurt, and its your hard earned money and time.
