thanx to all; Skyline, I hunted w/Big Knife Outfitters out of Donalda, great group of guys, all young and with enthusiasm to spare

This is the 4th year I've hunted with them, and I can honestly say I can't think of another place where I'd rather hunt deer, Alberta is simply off the charts ...great and friendly people as well. As to the whitetail, we spotted him at about 3:30 pm (very warm day of 50 degrees + no less) in that brushy flat in the right-background of the last pic, we were in an elevated position and otherwise wouldn't have seen him, he never completely showed himself until right when I shot him ... damn good thing I never looked at his rack closely, only confirmed that he was a shooter; I haven't been that excited since my first animal, a 6-pt elk, in Idaho's Selway in the mid-80's ....

the pics don't do him full justice, he's bigger when you've got the rack in your hands ...

I'll be back in Alberta again next year, thanx again all...

I wish I had more time to get out to hunt my mulie tag this season. Oh well...X-mas tree ornament and wait another 2-3 years again for the draw tag.
