Just got him scored at a local big buck contest at 216" Still can't believe I have my hands on such a nice deer. Found him bedded down with one doe beside him and another feeding at the edge of a swampy area. I didn't see his good side untill after I walked up to him.

I'll be the first to bring the negativity, that's a terrible buck, I have to be honest. Because you'll never beat it, extremely interesting, and big. Cool

Hearty congratulations, where was he taken? No need to give up the honey hole just curious where you're hunting.

Interesting twist to find out it is better than what you thought it was on a walkup, usually the other way around for me. That is a funky deer.

Was this about the 15th or 16th of November? I was hunting up there the week prior and little to no snow. Was unusually warm. Had some snow the day we departed and heard it did not snow much afterwards.
Tough hunting when I was there. Never can tell about the weather………
Really nice "free range" buck! Congrats
