This question may have been asked and answered on here before, but since I am a Newbie, not to be confused with a Newfie, I am gonna ask. When I hunted Musk Ox and Caribou in 2000 in Nunavut, the outfitter was Canada North Outfitting. I can't remember off hand the name of the guy or his wife that ran the company. I believe they were based in Almonte. They used to have a booth at the Dallas Safari Club show, but haven't seen anything of them since 2001, when I talked to them at the DSC show in January of that year. Does anyone have any information on them? Are they still in business? Even the rocks don't last forever.

Yeah, Jerome and Helena Knapp are still around, booking for some of the communities in Nunavut. The majority, I believe, are using Fred Webb as their agent. The Knapps are just keeping a lower profile the last few years since they broke into some overseas bookings, maybe getting tired of the whole game. ~Arctic~ A stranger is a friend we haven't met
