Well the first few days of the the bison season were cold. -30 Saturday and Sunday, about one dozen moose,10 horses,2 lynx, one wolf, several snowshoe hare and not one bison. The second day we found that the bison had crossed our trail and dropped a few chips. Tried to track them but they headed into the bush.It is great when you can find some chips that are not frozen hard , then you can start trying to walk them down. Hopefully it will warm up a bit and we will try again around Christmas. The daylight hours are very short.
Baron of Bison would be fine instead of turkey!

Just curious, but what are you hunting with? Bow, rifle, black powder?
