In one of her more ridiculous feature articles the Toronto Star's resident anti-gun bigot and Liberal party lacky Olivia Ward blames attacks on Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan on the illegal small arms trade. She forgets there is a war going on. Her last column was an attempt to bolster poltical loser and outgoing Canadian ambassador to the UN former Attorney General Rock, who worries because John Bolton, is getting uppity. Rock's career has been on a steady downhill slide ever since he took on Canadian gun owner. Olivia Ward embodies all that is wrong with journalism in Canada. She pretends to be objective but hasn't got an objective bone in her body. She only quotes left wingers. Its just a lasp gasp left wing tirade by a defeated old hack who sees the writing on the wall and doesn't like what she sees. In Canada the Toronto Star is called Pravda North and with good reason.

Well The Toronto Star's Olivia Ward is at it again today trying to prop up the UN and its gun laws. She has now done this three columns in a row. Must have got a phone call from Liberal Party head quarters. This time she is quoting retired Canadian General Romeo Dallaire as favouring the UN legislation. He is an appointed Liberal senator, a hack in the Canadian senate. No Irwin Rommel he is arguably the single most incompetent military leader in the history of modern warfare. For some time he has been the poster boy for post traumatic stress disorder. He is the UN General who stood by and watched as the Hutu's in Ruanda killed 800,000 Tutsis. He is a good reason why the UN should not have an army. They made a movie about it called Hotel Ruanda. Somehow he equates the slaughter to there having been alot of guns in Ruanda. The fact that he stood by and watched when the fighting started does not seem to have entered his mind.

Once again the Toronto Star (Pravda north) is winding up the anti-gun propaganda machine. This is the forth day in a row. This time its to say some Swiss organization where Kofee Annan once attended school say Canada's gun registration is just great and ought to be kept. I'd bet money this is another George Soros (convicted felon) financed organization hiding behind yet another pretentious name.

Geez guys, if the Toronto Star is known as Pravda North, I guess the New York Times should be known as Pravda South. And all this time I just called it Pravda USA. John

Olivia ward is at it again this time acting as PR agent for Steven lewis who is on a UN Crusade to save women from rape. I didn't finish it but I know Olivia's stuff well enough to believe there is some gun control message in there soemwhere. That's the axe she has to grind.

Olivia Ward is still at it. This time she is stunned that Liberal philosophy is under attack. She blames it on 911. The reason it is under attack is because it is just psychobabble from people like her. It started with radio talk show hosts in the USA a long time ago and is just now coming to fruition in Canada. Its nice to watch Liberals like her squeal. They have never been questioned before. They can no longer control the flow of information like they could.

The UN is holding meetings on small arms trading They also want to take away all small arms so that they will be the only ones that have guns. The U.S. told them no deal. So then they want to hold these meetings every 4 years.

This is artful dodging. Then they want to use time and attrition to attain their goals. They want to wait until a Democratic government is elected in the USA. Reduce their income now and they wil have other things to worry about.

The Toronto Star's resident anti-gun bigot Olivia Ward is grinding her axe again today saying Canada's UN representatives favour the UN gun ban. A director from CILA (Canadian Institute for Legislative Action - modeled on NRA's ILA) has asked the Harper government to adopt the position of John Bolton and the USA.It would be handy to have a form letter here for Canadians that could be e-mailed directly to Garry Breitkreuz of the Harper government.
