If, you were to encounter a blockade, which is unlikely, simply tell the Indian(s) in charge that this is not your affair as you are simply passing through enroute to another part of YOUR country. You will probably be allowed to pass w/o further ado; this has nothing to do with actual hunting, it is a problem whose real roots lie in No. 2, Dzserzhinksii Square, Moskva, U.S.S.R.

If, a given Indian(s) threatens you or denies you passage along a highway, bring your cell phone/sat. phone and call 911, ask for the R.C.M.P. and request assistance as you feel in fear of your life. Make sure that they know you are an American citizen traveling through Kanada and be prepared to DEMAND their immediate assistance.

You might want to bring a list of the T.V. stations newsline numbers along your route and call them right after the Queen's Cowboys; they thrive on this sort of thing and would be there, pronto, giving you the protection of having the entire situation on film. Stay calm, Indians talk tough and are violent when in packs, but, they are usually just loudmouths and back down from real guts and determination.

DO NOT show or use a gun of any sort, the commie-pinko-fag-lesbo-anti-American pukesuckers in this country would just love it if a Yank dropped the hammer on some useless, drunken p.o.s. Indian that was threatening him. The legal cost of the ensuing court case would bankrupt you, so, stay cool and avoid such problems. I would keep your guns under lock and key and NOT allow anyone to know you have them with you.

I hope you enjoy your trip through Canada, you are very welcome here.

dakor,

No sweat. You will have no problems in Northern B.C or the Yukon.

Just stay away from bingo halls, offsale liquer sales outlets, and our gov't welfare office and you will be fine.

Once you are out in the bush, you will be home free, because you won't see any indians out there.

I fully expected that type of low blow, it is characteristic of someone whose inability to present a rational position on any topic of debate forces him to attempt to slag others. I have yet to make a derogatory remark about any person or group on this forum, other than terrorists, drug dealers and militant Aboriginals who are despised by even their fellow Indians, as the above post demonstrates.

As to whose country it is, well, we have never had "The Trail of Tears", "Wounded Knee" or " The Little Big Horn" in Canada; this nation belongs to ALL Canadians equally and only to Canadians. We will resolve our various internal conflicts in our typical, peaceful fashion as we are presently doing.

Given your birthplace, I would think that you might be somewhat more positive toward expressions of Canadian nationalism, but, the racist, violent and self-delusionary aspects of American culture seem to have influenced you deeply, my condolences.
