I've booked a spring bear hunt for next year with Alexis Desjardins on ther East side of Riding Mt. Park, Mb. I think the town is Laurier.
I'm beginning to second guess myself about the choice. Could really use some input on this outfitter.

Stupid question but why are you second guessing the decision? What's up?

I don't know a thing about the guide in question or any acquaintance of his.

I will only say this--if you're having second thoughts, listen to your conscience.

Even if you have to give up a deposite, what are you out? Some $$. Go on the trip, and maybe it will work nicely, and maybe it won't. If it goes badly, then you're out $$ and time.

Good luck with whatever you decide!

Now there is some sound advice: Either go or don't go. I can really get myself wrapped around that !!! Of course your question leaves a lot to be desired. Why are you nervous? What happened? Tell us the straight scoop and it would be a lot easier to help you.

No offense to anyone.

Hardluck I don't know your guide but I know where he is set up. You will be in some excellent bear country and should have a decent chance at a really big bear. Bear numbers in that area are quite high so I would bet you are going to see quite a selection. I would advise you not be too quick to shoot the first bear you see. Good Luck to you.
