Looking for a recommendation for an outfitter for a Spring Black Bear hunt on Vancouver Island, have done the search thing but no recent discussion.

Have done the multi-species hunt but have had no luck on the Black bear side, so looking to concentrate solely on a good Bear, possibly a double if lucky.

Traveling over from Australia with the better half , so will look at making the most of the long flight by enjoying some of the beautiful scenery on offer. Suggestion for 7-10 trip after the hunt also appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

I can highly recommend Dave Fyfe, I have personally hunted with him three times and got great bears on each occasion.

All good suggestions if you are hell bent on hunting the island.
Everyone named are good outfitters.

I can second Daren Daluca. Ask to hunt with Ted Chappell as your guide!

Thanks follow for the suggestions, decided to book a hunt on recommendations from a mate and will be hunting with Frazer River Outfitters.

My wife is not a hunter but enjoys the scenery and animals.

Will be spending a week in Vancouver ( 14 - 22 )prior to hunting, will do day trips from there. Have a to do list including, ice fields, gardens , hand of man musuem, visit Whistler, other major tourist traps.....

Any suggestions for quality accomadation, needs to be close to transport and restuaunt as will not have a car.

Thanks in advance
Scott
