This kind of stuff has to stop. Even if you don't hunt the Willmore, let them know we as hunters won't stand for losing any more of our rights.

Willmore hunting ban

Lots seems to happen here without consultation. IMHA, this agreement... strange how elected officials almost as a rule get totalitarian tendencies... The Willmore Wilderness Foundation sent out notice a little while ago about this. I need to write another letter.
I've never hunted the Willmore, but certainly was planning to!

I just recieved a phone call from Jim Allen, Alberta Fish and Wildlife Division in Edmonton. He emphatically ensures me that this issue is nothing but rumour. He tells me it stems from the placement of a provincial park just east of the Willmore that will indeed see hunting restrictions. He says that the Willmore has no current changes to hunting and none are in the works.

I live in Grande Cache and there is no ban. I haven't heard anything of a provincial park either.
