I only read the beginning of the article (it was a friend's copy) but the company in question was called "Great White". I recall doing some work on some of thier equipment some years back, I wasn't impressed at the time. Perhaps some one who has the article handy can scan and post or just type it in. By the way Mr308Win, what part of Long Island are you from? I believe I have to go work there for a couple of weeks next month, and I'm always up for coffee and hunting stories.- Dan

Well, GM and LIRR have their lawyers working out a deal, but it looks like I'll be there for the last two weeks of April. I usually stay in Bethpage, at one of the Extended Stay hotels. I'll PM you once I have actual dates, and maybe we can get together for coffe or a beer. - Dan

Hello; Actually I don't think they even changed their name. The guy in question was Lloyd Mc Mahon. I notice he has a grandiose full page ad in the Outfitter's magazine, but doesn't advertise Saskatchewan Hunts any more. I can't remember all the details, but one of the issues revolved about hunting from an airplane and somehow a bogus word record mexican Whitetail was involved, which turned out to be a rack stolen from an Edmonton taxidermy shop. I tried to find the Spring issue of the Game Warden, but it apparently hasn't hit the news stands here yet. Grizz
I've been hearing bad stuff about Lloyd for about ten years. He actually did time in the U.S. for the mis representation of that buck. This was a violation of the Lacy Act which forbids the transportation of wildlife (dead or alive) for criminal purposes. Lloyd was arrested some years ago for this problem and promptly skipped bail only to be re arrested in Hawaii while in transit to his hunting concession in New Zealand (Iheard) I did hear some rumors about him again up in Saskatchewan last Nov. He sounds like a bad actor-hear he is agreat marksman though apparently used to be in Coyote control. All The Best John
