This is kind of old news up here, I heard about this about a month ago. I was told that they may be sending some to the Ukraine, but don't know if it is true, nor how many. That said those pistols have been in service a LONG time and our forces could definitely use the new ones.

The fact that the govt is destroying them should not be surprising to anyone that has been keeping track of what the Liberals/Trudeau have been doing up here with firearms legislation. Under the new rules they recently put into force the pistols could not be legally bought or sold. My handguns are grandfathered and I can possess them and shoot them at the range, but when I die they have to be turned in to the govt. I cannot even legally sell them to another person that has a license allowing them to possess restricted firearms.

Our only hope is that the Conservatives will get in next time and toss out the changes made by the Liberals. They say they will, but we are talking politicians...in any event it is our only hope. The good news is that the Conservatives are currently polling high enough that they will form a majority government and the Liberals are just about at the bottom of the pack.

For now we wait......

There may come a time very soon when we will wish we still had them. In the opening days of WWll the Brits were asking Americans to send them anything that would shoot,

We have Tens of millions of AR15's hundreds of million of other defensive arms.

The communist's in this country would love to disarm us. So they could take over.

They might find it harder then they think.
