Hailing from the Peace River region of BC. I hunted moose last fall, after taking a couple of years off. Other than that, I shoot (not hunt) mule deer, and shoot a coyote whenever the opportunity presents itself.
My name is Cal, and I'm originally from Virginia. I came to Canada 32 years ago to spend a week with some friends. I just never got around to going back, except for visits. You never want to invite me to your home. I tend to stay! This is an easy country to fall in love with. I'm a USAF veteran and retired from CN railway. These are my golden years, right? So where's all the gold? Best wishes.
Hi, just when l was wondering what had become of some of the more sane voices off of other gun sites l frequent. Have been registered for a while but am just getting around to saying hello.....
Another Montrealer, I too love hunting, moose, whitetail, caribou, small game and waterfowl. Also enjoy precision rifle shooting and compete when I have the time. Good to see so many Canucks on this site.

Like the brochure, glad you posted it. I guess things are warming up in Winnipeg, time to start scouting. We have had our usual amount of rain, this weekend is a little drier than some.

Hey everyone,I love the roll call idea.I'm checkin' in from Grande Cache Alberta. We are lucky enough here to have just about everything a person could want to hunt right outside our back doors here. For all you deer hunters we have both Whitetails and Muleys,Elk(both 6&3 point zones),Moose,Big Horn Sheep,Mountian Goats,Black Bears,Grizzly Bears,Cougars(which we called in a pair of while we were cow&calf calling last fall) ooops.Luckily there was a big deep river between them and us.So every fall we are off into the mountians with a pocket full of tags...some of which are always still there at the end of the season too.
