North of 60 - Yup...you have me grinning to myself here with fond memories. I have a favorite spot just south of Union Island, and another southeast of the icehouse. If you're feeling self indulgent, you can always go out to Nonatcho and stay in one of Merlins cabins.... ...your neck of the woods is my old home turf, and I'm getting homesick - and hungry for a stuffed Caribou heart! | |||

Just like North of 60 we are waiting for the snow to build up and the ice roads to freeze. Probably not til after Christmas. Then fill the freezer with 5 caribou. Smokey | |||

Last year probably saw 3000 caribou over the 5 days. Talk about a target rich environment. DID get a chance to stretch out the legs on the .340wby though. | |||
