Gun registry survives make or break Commons vote ( Canuck Totalitarians win by 2 votes)

OTTAWA — The federal gun registry has survived a critical vote in the House of Commons by a very narrow margin.

The result was 153-151 in favour of keeping the registry. All MPs showed up and voted as expected.

All parties had been keeping close tabs on the voting intentions of their MPs and the result was widely expected to be 153-151 in favour of keeping the registry, with all Tories voting to scrap it.

Do not even think that this battle is lost or that we REAL CANADIANS have lost, will not eventually triumph or will EVER give up!

This crucial issue, is the beginning of the "way back" from nearly 60 years of leftist-liberal destruction by the traitors of the federal Liberal Party of Canada, the socialist vermin known as the "N.D.P" and that gang of seditious filth in Quebec, who want to separate from Canada and tear us in two, but, of course, we Canucks will pay for it through our excessive taxes.....

It, is a long and arduous path in front of us, but, just as our huge nation with it's tiny population, produced the finest soldiers on Earth, by actual victories in "The Great War" and WWII, we, who are their descendants WILL fight on and save our great country from the totalitarian goons who advocate gun registries, multiculturalism, open immigration and not funding our armed forces as we must, should and our allies deserve!

Fuggen commie faggots have NOT "won", yet, by God and we have only just begun to fight!

I called both Ignattief and Layton's offices this morning and let it be known that I have never worked for a political party in an election before, but I WILL work in the next one - I'm going to find the closest riding held by the Liberals or the NDP and I will for the Conservative candidate that is running in that riding!

You can find their numbers here if you want to do the same.

They say you can't polish a turd, and the registry is a turd.

Dewey, tell us how you really feel.

Good luck in your fight, I agree with you 100%. In fact that's how I feel about many of our "leaders" in Washington.

I've tried keeping up with this and am simply stunned at some of the decisions being made in Canada. Like the US, I thought Canada was much like us in that the firearm/hunting/ownership was such a sacred right that it would never get to this point. While the US is full of libs who wish to end ownership, there is simply too much political power among the populace to let mandatory registration become the law.

I wish you guys all the best in Canada!

Scott, you're mistaken about the "right to bear arms." That's enshrined in your constitution...but sadly not in ours. It's definately led the two countries down different paths. Quite interesting to ponder about the differences actually.

cheers

Chef, I think that's what pisses me off the most. While it may be enshrined in their constitution, the right to self-defense is a natural right, that no gov't needs give, and can't take away!

Every being on this earth has the right to defend itself with the tools that nature gave it. Whether my tool is my bare hands, a rock, a stick or manufactured doesn't matter. It's my choice, not the gov'ts, which tool I choose for my own defense.
