Hello; I heard this one on the radio yesterday and thought it was good for a laugh. Apparently, a Black bear found his way into the I.G.A store in Peace River and headed straight for the Bakery. Fish and Feathers drugged him and removed him from the scene. The store up there is apparently open 24 hours a day so I don't know how many people were in the store, but I'm sure it was pandemonium. You got any donuts Frans ? Grizz Indeed, no human being has yet lived under conditions which, considering the prevailing climates of the past, can be regarded as normal. Donuts - a police bear ?? A couple of years ago we had a deer go into a store here [no food] .One witness told me the poor deer was slipping and sliding on the smooth floor and finally made it outside. He said about half the people were in a panic the other half were laughing at the deer's problems !

The bear must have a real sweet tooth. Ate 16 cakes/pies! It was justa cub, a 1 year old. FW trapped it and tried to find the mother the next day. The store has auto-front doors. Happenned very early in morning. I believe the bear was kinda pushed out the back door. Last seen running to the neigbouring dentist's office....lol

Hello; Interesting where these guys can show up. They shot one in a residential section in Innisfail, on Highway 2 between Calgary and Red Deer, last night. Probably a two year old, following the Red Deer River to places unknown.
