I was out with my nephew, a good friend and a young lady from Germany who is staying with us for 6 months. This was to an exciting day for us all.
Driving around looking to cut a cougar track for the young dogs I noticed through the trees a lone wolf standing on a lake. We all bailed out pf the truck and stalked through the trees to within 350 yards. Both myself and my nephew lined up on this great wolf. I looked over and said,"Cody go ahead take him" Cody say" what if I miss" I just responded" we all miss once in a while."
Well the gun went off a the wolf dropped!! in one ear and out the other!!!! not a bullet hole in the hide.
Not quite where he was aiming but the best miss ever!

Check out the smile!!!

Cody with his first wolf, second animal ever

Izzy loving every minute of it. This is one girl who has fallen in love with the outdoors, hunting, and the hounds.

I am so jealous... It may cost a bit, but that wolf would make an absolutely gorgeous full body mount!
