| I will be there with a pretty decent 10x10 NT Whitetail and a buddy is taking down a possible 170+ typical WT. Its a yearly tradition to go down and have a boo at the heads as well as have a steak and copious beers at the Legion afterward.
Regards

| Yep, I'll be there. If anybody knows Ken Nowicki, I'll be the tiny guy hanging out with him. We'll have a quick look around for a coyote in the morning and plan to spend the day at the "show".

| Could you make a list of all the Bighorn rams that show up there, and what they scored? Or pics? I'm really curious if any good rams have been whacked in that region in the last couple years or so.
Thanks, GordM |

| Problem with good rams getting whacked - they are now dead !! Years ago I tried to get my kid brother to go on a deer hunt the last day of the season. He declined saying that no one that he knew had shot any deer ... (To me that meant they were still alive and around somewhere ... ) He no longer hunts ... Me, I'm going to Willow Valley in a few minutes. I'll take a picture of a ram that did someone a lot of good .. Ha! Ha! |

| I've got some pics of rams that were there, but not necessarily shot in the area, and most not shot recently. As such the trophies on the show are not a good indication of the trophy potential of the region.
I didn't win the barbeque, and I didn't win any of the door prizes, but I still have a chance for a skidoo or quad, and that rangefinder...
Chuck, sorry we didn't get to talk more. Maybe next year, eh? Unless you'd be coming up for the FNAWS chapter meeting in Red Deer on Feb. 7th.

| Frans, I agree that it was unfortunate that we didn't get to chat some more. I had prior engagements that pulled me away early. Looks like you need to stick close to Ken where Bighorns are concerned though . |
