Does anybody know if there are any rules to send a hunting knife into Ontario from the U.S.? I'd like to send one across the border but do not want it siezed because I did not know the laws. Thanks, Jeff

I'm not aware of any laws that would restrict that. Good luck.

Write "Hand Tool" on the customs declaration.

And add "gift" as well, that way they won't charge whoever picks it up with duty.

I wish I had me a connection down in the states to send me knives and other hunting parafenalia. It would be a hell of a lot easier on my wallet then paying duty/exchange/brokerage fees etc etc etc

There's an easy way around that. Tell the seller to never ship via UPS. Shipping USPS is the best.

You **HAVE** a connection! I live in FL, but grew up in Winnipeg, and go home to visit family from time to time.........I will send and/or bring whatever you need.....that goes for ANY AR member. I have accumulated many decades of disgust for Canada Customs. so, e-mail me. Alex
