I am looking at a moose hunt in Newfoundland and I was wondering what are the better waterproof but breathable brands of rain gear? Also what is a good brand of knee highn rubber boots?

Thank you

Jim

As for the boots, Muck boots seemed to be the overwhelming favorite of most of the guides at the camps I Have hunted.

Helly Hansen rain gear for me. Seems pretty durable.

Awesome stuff but not sure I'd call it breathable. I'm still a triple layer Goretex fan for breathable rain gear. Keep it clean and dry in a hot dryer occasionally and it lasts for years.

I second the Helly Hansen rain gear. I have used it hunting and I stayed warm and dry. The Muck boots are nice as well. They have excellent traction and fit snug enough to provide some ankle support.
