| A few years ago, I was headed up for to fish back of the Verendrez. Got lost in Ottawa at about 2 in the morning. Pulled along the street and asked a fellow for directions. He said stay here, I'll get my car and lead you to the highway you need to get to Grand Remous. He showed up in a few minutes and got us back on the right track. Took about a half hour to get us out of town and pointed in the right direction. He wouldn't take any money, just thanks. He then told us he lived well south of town and had to get home to get ready for work. On of my toughest trips, it rained hard all week, bears trashed our camp, and the fishing was terrible, but his goodnatured help in the middle of the night still makes me want to go back. Another one Canada can be proud of. Bfly
Work hard and be nice, you never have enough time or friends.

| What surprize me was the out fitter did not hang around to make sure your vehicle started.
That a prime rule in my book when you are out in the boonies one always waits to see if the others parties vehicle starts. |
