Well 2 days ago it was -40 C today its a tropical +7 C. Weather has been Ok this year but a fair amount of snow on ground (2ft)

If you have that much to fight for, then you should be fighting. The sentiment that modern day ordinary Canadians do not need firearms for protection is pleasant but unrealistic. To discourage responsible deserving Canadians from possessing firearms for lawful self-defence and other legitimate purposes is to risk sacrificing them at the altar of political correctness."

I think this winter has not been as hard on wildlife as last winter. I am seeing good movement around still where last winter it was minimal and 4' of snow.

So far this winter looks better than last winter, but it aint over yet. March can be a long and messy month. And april is rarely sunshine and flowers.
Not from the Peace country, but sick of winter already. Bring on the warmer weather and fat gophers.

The deer and moose took a real beating last year, I was hoping for a much better winter this year than what we got. It could be tough hunting this fall...

Hey guys, I was driveing to work the other day and I saw a moose in the trees just off the gravel road, it looked great, full hair without any patches, really dark coloring. I would say they must have wintered OK.

You don't have to be the best shot....Just the last shot.
