I was wondering if anyone knows anything about a gunsmith called Trevor Tumak. He is the owner of Canadian Precision located in B.C . I sent this guy a barreled action to have some chambering work done on last April. All I got was excuses and delays from him for months. This January I got in touch with him finally and he told me the work was done . He gave me a bill which I paid by email transfer Jan 15, and now he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth( with my money and barreled action). I've got the police involved. I'll see if this gun regristation is worth anything.
If any of you guys could give me any info I would be gratreful. If you have any dealings with him be very careful.

What gun registry I thought that was done away with.

Don't you have record or did you expect the goverment to keep it for you.

Or are you from the only providence that still screws their citizens over.

Registry for long guns is gone, no longer contains any data that was there, police can no longer look up any unregistered firearm. Now if they can start un prohibing some of the hand guns we will be getting some where.

I do live in Quebec, but that is not the issue here, and neither is the long gun regestery. Does anyone know him.
Thanks

Hope they can help you out. Aldergrove is on the lower mainland (not far from Vancouver) and there are a lot of people on that forum from there.

If they don't come up with any info for you, you can always try the Canadian Gunnutz forums.

Good luck!

I ran a search on Gunnutz and came up with one thread. It stated that he does do good work, but is often VERY difficult to get a hold of. In your case, I hope he hasn't screwed you, but is just busy.

IMO, any gunsmith worth his weight should strive to provide seamless communication, especially when a person invests so much money on a project.
