Hi guys, I am asking on behalf of a Kiwi friend. Is it possible to bring a firearm to Canada for a year? Or to buy one and keep it in the country for a year, and then ether sell it or take it back? He currently holds a NZ firearms licence, and owns a .300. He is coming over on a working holiday visa.
Thanks for any input you may have.

Yes to all, by the look of things. Note the license application requirements re references though.

Info's all here: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-.../visit/index-eng.htm

And their import-export FAQ: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/faq/im-ex-eng.htm

Cheers,
