Need to know if you can bring moose meat back in to the United States now. T.I.A.

We came across from Winsor, Ont. today 11/8, 2003 asking about if we could being back beef, as we were shopping. The answer was no beef could be brought into the US.

I haven't heard about moose meat yet. Beef products of a limited type are already being let across the border, and shipping of all beef products looks like it will start again shortly. A call to the USDA or US customs should give you a more detailed answer though. - Dan

I looked up on the US Customs site and you may bring in moose. You will need a form
