Holidays are booked solid at work, for the summer.
My only window of opportunity is August long weekend. I really hope this can work for everyone else. If not I'm screwed until October.

axle, well, the location could be Williams Lake or Kamloops.

Frans, how about milk jugs and buckets of water?

Anyone familiar with these for shooting facilities?

Hey .366,

I don't think any of us involved in the first Big Bore Shoot contemplated doing this more than once a year, considering the preparation and travel time involved.

Speaking for myself (and possibly others), I think a spring shoot in '08 is the next good opportunity. While its warm enough to shoot, but before people are off on summer vacations with their family and not during hunting season when we all have plans.

I definitely couldn't make an August long weekend shoot. My summer long weekends are booked til eternity with 'family' vacation.

Cheers,
Canuck

Yep. No problem, I was just wondering. Spring '08 would be excellent. That way we can get more people.

Yeh, Spring '08 is better for me too!

This August long weekend I'll be "stuck" in Tanzania dancing

If you have that much to fight for, then you should be fighting. The sentiment that modern day ordinary Canadians do not need firearms for protection is pleasant but unrealistic. To discourage responsible deserving Canadians from possessing firearms for lawful self-defence and other legitimate purposes is to risk sacrificing them at the altar of political correctness."

Scouting for sheep on the long weekend, and many other weekends from now until opening day.

Oh yeah, and the family thing... I guess... ;-)
