Just a heads up to those interested. Buddy mentioned that the new county maps won't have the land owners names on them due to the privacy of information act. I went a few weeks back and bought some and lo and behold the new ones in fact don'thave the names. Luckily the ones I wanted were still old stock. I also discovered a really cool mulie hunting spot-I just love pouring over maps. the chef | ||

Seems to be the general trend these days. The "reason" we were given is that it's too difficult to keep the things up to date. Last thing I heard it was still being debated. My problem with this is that in my business, they are sometimes indispensible in finding somebody. Without ownership and residence location, there is no point to them. May as well just get a road map. Indeed, no human being has yet lived under conditions which, considering the prevailing climates of the past, can be regarded as normal.
