My wife and I will be in Vancouver for a day. Could some one recommend a cool restaurant to enjoy whle we are there? A place where locals go.

Thanks,

Rusty

P.S.
Please badger the brewery on bringing back their Cream Lager. The best lager ever!

The "Sandbar" restaurant in Granville Island is very good.

I also enjoy "Kettle of Fish" retaurant, or if I don't have time to stray far from the airport, "The Boathouse" is also very good.

There are lots of really good restaurants in Vancouver...tough to narrow it down!

'The Afghan Horsemen' on W Broadway, go into the 'Afghan room', really good food, cool sitting on rugs and pillows etc.

But as Gatehouse said, Vancouver has good food. lots of 'hole-in-the-wall' places that dont look like much but are great!
