My wife and I will be in Vancouver for a day. Could some one recommend a cool restaurant to enjoy whle we are there? A place where locals go. Thanks, Rusty We Band of Brothers! The "Sandbar" restaurant in Granville Island is very good. I also enjoy "Kettle of Fish" retaurant, or if I don't have time to stray far from the airport, "The Boathouse" is also very good. There are lots of really good restaurants in Vancouver...tough to narrow it down! | |||

'The Afghan Horsemen' on W Broadway, go into the 'Afghan room', really good food, cool sitting on rugs and pillows etc. But as Gatehouse said, Vancouver has good food. lots of 'hole-in-the-wall' places that dont look like much but are great! | |||

I know it's way late but if you return the grouse nest at the top of grouse moutain is the best place to impress any lady. | |||
