Hello, I'm just wondering if anyone here has hunted with Ram Creek outfitters/Steven Leuenberger lately?
Our main focus would be for elk/Mule deer and we are thinking about going for the first hunt of the season next year. I think the hunt would start around sept. 10 or so. Will we catch the rut? How are the populations of game in his area's ? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

Regarding the elk rut, the peak is typically the third week of Sept (18 to 20th'ish) but hunting the week before or after can be highly productive if the weather cooperates.

The muleys will still be up high...which is good.
