What's up Dewey (Devil Bear) or whatever you call yourself these days - trying to crawl back in under another name are we?

What did you call yourself last time you where here stinking the place out?

BTW - after telling these folks how you hate Americans and all foreigners, didn't you get banned (like all the other sites you have been banned on)

Why, with ALL YOUR supposed "expertise" on Canadian hunting, don't YOU offer some "help" to this gentleman?????

LMAO!!!!!!

I'm sure that a few genuine BC guys (guides) will step in soon enough and help the fellow out, we have a few of them on here with really upstanding reputations - unlike you little troll!

Sorry about all the drama that seems to plague the Canadian forum Bashaw. I do know Ron from Love Bros and Lee and from what I've heard he runs a first-class camp. I believe Chinchaga Outfitters are actually in Alberta and not British Columbia. If you could give a bit more detail as to what type of moose hunt you'd like to book perhaps a few people could be more helpful. Are you looking for a high scoring moose? Do you want to do horseback, river boat, atv? What's your budget?

bashaw,

I also have a few Western Canada hunts including two in B.C. that would be in driving distance from Oregon allowing you to bring back the meat. Send me a PM and I'll show you what I have.

I'm looking for a respectable Moose probably leaning more towardWestern canada rather than a Shiras doesn't have to be Boone& Crockett. yes your right Chinchaga is Alberta.
It also would be nice if Goats or Caribou would be available on same hunt if the Moose hunt got finished early

Check with Doug at "Skinnercreek", he posts as "Chilcotinhillbilly", I would trust him and his place is easy to drive to, yet, in some of BC's more remote, wild country.

I have another suggestion, just need to check some details and will post again.

I'd definitely add Turnagain Adventures to your list if you'd like to possibly add goat and caribou. Neither species is available in Alberta.

Who would think a topic on
ah can turn into a mess like that........ sigh.

As far as I know OP there is nothing wrong with the two BC outfitters you mentioned.

I do know that Ron and Brenda at Lee Bros & Lee take some good moose and they have been in business for a LONG time.

There are some big moose in the Chinchaga. Do not know the outfitter, but I also know from personal experience there is lots of oil and gas activity up there as well.

There are lots of good moose outfitters in BC. You could also check out Wicked River Outfitters...... talk to Booker.

Cheers!

The other outfit you should contact is BCSafaris.com. This is Shane Black and Mike Gilson, who stage out of Smithers.BC and have landline phones, Shane is in Prince George.

They have Moose, Caribou, Goats and Stone's Sheep and their area is wild and is both rich in game and VERY beautiful.

My impression is that they are more a "highend" outfit, but, you do "get what you pay for" and I would very seriously consider them for such a hunt.

HTH.

I would like to add my recommendation, which is to check out Collingwood Bros, based in Smithers BC. Moose, Goats & Caribou are available with this outfit. I've hunted twice with Collingwoods with my third hunt booked for 2017. Prior to first booking Collingwoods I checked out other outfits. Collingwoods were not the cheapest but time and time again the references & reports were all positive. Thorough professionalism is the phrase that comes to mind in my previous dealings with Collingwoods and this factor was instrumental in my decision to book 2017.
Good luck with your selection process.

Hunting.... it's not everything, it's the only thing.
