Are you all singing the song from the Wizard of OZ?

Ding, dong, the Witch is dead.

Which old witch, the wicked witch.

not gone yet ... the prorogation of Hoc up to the 24 of march 2025, then he might step down if there is a new leader for his party ... do not celebrate too early as it might be 37 to 51 days before the end with an election ... so he announced but he did not resigned yet ... so trudeau is still the maximo leader of canada: the 51st state.

Doesn't really matter who is in command of the Titanic, when Parliament reconvenes there will be a non confidence motion and an election.

Politics aside, we’d be better off being one country, one currency as we are already speaking same language and have pretty much same culture

politics aside you will discover that canada has 2 languages and not only in quebec ...

i will no have problem to integrate the rural usa into the 11st province and alaska as the 4 th territories and hawaii the 5th but you can keep the big cities ... but luckily for us we are not looking for extra territories or people ... and i doubt the king of England will accept it without a referendum ...

Believe me, no one wants those big cities, they seem to somehow change people’s DNA for the worse
I’d go for 11th province but without Quebec, Manitoba and western BC ( Vancouver )

Like most bankers I have met, Mark Carney has about as much charisma as a stump...and his French sucks. Still, he is the front runner for replacing the drama teacher, and that should give you an idea of how pitiful the lineup of contenders is for the Liberal leadership.

You are right Phil...repairing the damage done by Trudeau and his minions will be a monumental task. I hope Pierre and the rest of his team have the stamina to deal with what lays ahead of them.

It’ll be interesting what you guys come up with up North
When I was young, I thought about Canada as tough country where everyone is armed to their teeth just to fight any mean griz in the woods…and then voila, Trudeau comes to power and guns are looked at as dangerous
Freedom can be so easily lost
Just look at Dems in US, if it was up to them the only weapon we’d have is probably fork in kitchen, knives of course would be already outlawed…

It is not Poilievre and his cabinet who will have to try and repair the damage done by Trudeau and Carney, it is the people who have that task ahead of them. I will say, here and now, most Canadians, whether Liberal or Conservative, are unlikely to have the fortitude to stay with it or the desire to make any sort of sacrifice. Regards, Bill.

lol for some outfits certainly but as mot of the owners of the yukon outfitters are not in the Canada let alone Yukon and do not even purchase their dry food here and not even using local hunting guides but yes the grand scheme can be the dry up of money but the income from hunting is really on the low side for here ... it will affect some people but i will say the retaliation made the gvt of canada on trump threats might be an interesting eye openers on maga supporters ... and once the dust will settle we might be to work together instead of fighting each other ...

Now we need to get rid of Polis, Gov of Colorado. New law, any gun in your car has to be in a locked case.

Sorry to have to say it, would be a Bitch if Trump's ravings and the resultant rise in nationalism brought about another Liberal government. It's known as the Law of Unintended Consequences.

Well everyone is already acting like Carney is Trudeau's replacement...and since he just admitted to the press that he is an "elitist and a globalist" and that that is what Canada needs right now...he may well have just done a great job of scaring everyone off. Lets hope so.

What we definitely do not need, is another narcissistic Liberal prick running the country.
