What is the best month?

I was there 4 years ago returning after an absence of 12 years to take my grandsons. My family always booked a week in Nov. an I grew up hunting there with my grandfather,father,uncles and cousins.
On the most recent trip the deer sightings were not as many as I recalled them though my 3 grandsons each killed their bucks.

I heard deer numbers were way down there last season. Some friends went and really struggled.

there are so many better options than a $6000 Anticosti deer hunt for whitetail I took the grandsons so they would know where their great grandfather and I hunted back in the day.
