Has anybody hunted with them? I would appreciate a first hand opinion on that outfit. I'm hoping to book a hunt and have no prior experience with hunting in B.C.

Thank You!

I hunted with them this year and shot a really nice Stone Sheep. My guide (Kelly May)was as good as it gets!! The camps were organized and clean, the food was fantastic and they even had hottubs at some camps. If I could ever come up with the money I would go back in a second. Barry was first class all the way. I would post a few pictures but I don't know how.

I'm considering one of their Moose/Goat hunts, but still have many unanswered questions. I don't know how realistic it is to hope for both species during a 10 day hunt. I am more than willing to work for it dawn to dusk.

Jim,

I had the same problem posting pictures, but it's really not that bad once you look into it. There's a post somewhere here on AR that explains it very well. You'll have to join one of those photo sharing sites, I joined Photo Bucket for free.

I would be great to see some pictures!

NWBears,

I don't have facebook, but will ask around. I think some people at work have it.

I know how to post on other sites but that's way too complex for me. Send me your email and I'll send the pics over to you.
Again, I can't say enough good things about Barry!!

Do the moose/goat combo. There are lots of both species in that area so you should be able to do both in 10 days. Get a wolf tag as well. I have been working in the area for the last 4 months and see lots of moose, goat and caribou daily as well as the odd wolf. We had very little snow so the wildlife had a pretty easy winter.

Thank you very much for your replies! Sounds like a great area to hunt. I've been wanting a goat for a very long time, it would be a shame to miss the opportunity.

I'm still working out the details, hopefully it will work out.

I too hunted with Barry. Got a great Stone and a pretty good mule deer from sheep camp. Saw some other nice ones also. A moose/goat combo is definitely possible in 10 days. We saw goats, moose, caribou and elk during the course of my hunt. Great hunt with a great outfitter.

Jim

Sheep hunting, the most fun you can have while being completely miserable!

On the other hand, I went 0/4. Never saw a legal moose and only 1 legal elk (must have 6 on 1 side), no black bear or wolf. It's hunting. Good outfit, though. Just don't set unrealistic expectations.
