Looking to do a deer hunt in 2005,been thinking and looking around for a few years.I've never hunted deer, so not looking for book deer, just a good quality buck.Mostly looking for whitetail but would consider both. Most of all I don't want to get ripped off as I have never done a guided hunt,I want a quality buck and a good time.Looking at Saskatchewan and Alberta perhaps B.C.
Any advise would be great.
Thanks

Good luck jjs,

I hope you find that big one!

I'm trying to lure my son into coming the next few Saturdays, so all I'm looking for is seeing some deer, and possibly shooting one before he gets bored. Make a little fire, roast a few marshmellows. Anything to make him have fun. Wish I had had time to scout a bit beforehand to make the chance of success a bit bigger, but all my spare time went into sheep hunting. How do you keep the attention of a ten-year old boy, who's span of attention is hours when computergames are concerned, but minutes at best for everything else...
