Personally I can't point out the apecific law because I don't think there is one.It was brought to my attention a couple of years ago by one of my hunting partners who is a past president of the BCWF and still remains very active dealing with both the provincial and federal governments on numerous issues.Seems as though the provincial government classifies shed antlers as an ASSET OF THE CROWN,and therefore belong to the government. They can call them whatever they want, however, when I find a nice shed I classify itas an ASSET OF DAVE.I highly doubt that you'll ever see anyone cited for collecting sheds in BC because it's just one of those ridiculous unenforced policies(laws) that we have. Our CO service has much better things to do.It's just an example of our governments waste of tax dollars even discussing issues like this. If I see my partner soon,I'll see if he can give me anymore details and I'll post them. This is all I have for now. Dave

Here in Sask I don't believe there is any law against collecting sheds. I also believe there is a permit required for the export of such. As far as heads of killed game the license covers that. i amy be mistaken about that but I believe it came about as part of the illegal trade in wildlife parts that was mainly aimed at trade in bear gall bladers etc.
