Does anyone know where I could find a Stevens 200 in .223rem in Canada? I've tried local (in NB) and nothing for at least weeks. I tried Wholesale sports, 3 months, and Russels, indefinatly. Can't seem to track one down.

The name of the area is Wakefield. About an hour north-east of Fredericton.

Called all around today and nothing. So I ordered the Savage 11F, same thing with Accutriger and black syn stock.

Not familiar with that area. Her maiden name was LeBlond. Most of them are around Edmiston and Grand Falls and St. Quentin.

Great country up there, full of Christmas trees, moose, and other such four legged animals.

One of these days, hopefully not the distant future, one of her cousins wants to take me caribou hunting.

Yep, definatly Northern/northeastern NB.
We dodge our share of moose here too. I think they're all over NB. If you head north into Quebec to hunt caribeau I'd suggest speeding through most of the cities until you hit tundra. You may get distracted by all the two legged hunting a man could do

If I get the trip put together, nothing will distract me until AFTER I get one. She has cousins in Quebec, also. The one that wants to take me on a caribou hunt is from Quebec, somewhere north and east of Quebec City. Her father was from Trois Pistole originally.
