I just came to an agreement to purchase the area I usually lease for my cougars and bears. Now I will operate as Skinner Creek Hunts and offer Mountain Goat, Muledeer and Moose as well as the usual cougar , lynx and black bear. Her is a few pictures of the area and the alpine camp.
I am heading out on the 6th to take an AR member out for a 10 day mixed bag hunt. Should be fun if the weather holds.

Let me be the first to extend my sincere congratulations to you, Doug and Julie, for attaining your dream in this fashion. I also admire your guts for going into this business now, given all of the economic and social issues involved with it.

I think that even the most hardline, "take no prisoners", BC conservationist and citizen-first activists, me for example, will be in favour of you and others like you restoring the BC "GO" industry to what it could and should be, to the longterm benefit of all concerned.

I will be in touch, just been swamped as my wife is finally scheduled for neuro-surgery before Christmas and I have not had much spare time. I would like to book with you for next year, am committed to taking a younger friend to the Kootenays for Elk this month, but, would like to hunt Moose and Mulies next year and will call you later this fall.

Thanks so much Dewey, it is important to me as well to keep the BC guide industry owned by Canadian residents.
This is a stretch the way the economy is butI feel hunters will come if you give them a good hunt and work your tail off for them.
Doug
