Geeze Mickey, I wish I had of saw this before hand. I would of took a look for you and said hi. wave

So...how are things up Horsefly way? I was just up there the other day for the first time since moving. Went to try and call out some of those wolves that hide in behind my old place. Too damn windy and I got stuck twice. Still lots of sign though.

Were you at the show? I found a nice BRNO 21h in 7x57. Been looking for a good one for a while.

Wrecked my car on the way home. Came around a corner and found a half a dozen Deer in the middle of the road. I swerved to the left, down the embankment, through a dozen wooden fence poles. It took our the whole left side of the car. What a mess.

Did I mention I found a nice rifle?

Did you see the Westley Richards Double with the 500 3" barrel and the 12 gauge barrel?

Curious about it's intended purpose. Confused

Mickey, does your 21h have the original barrel. I saw one there that had the barrel replaced with a take off barrel from another rifle.

I hope so. I bought it Friday night so it wasn't really on display. There was an 8x57 that I noticed but don't know about the barrel.

It's the carbine.

Look along the barrel channel and the barrel. If it is the one I am talking about you will see evidence of a rear sight dovetail slot almost hidden by the wood. Whoever rebarreled it tried to hide the dovetail under the barrel but didn't get it quit right and can just be seen at the edge of the wood.

Mickey, I should have read your post more closely, and seen that you bought it on Friday, so its not the same rifle. Did you have a table there?
