as far as I know it is.. best to send an e mail to conservation officers to confirm. I will ask conservation officer tomorrow.. Then post here.. Regardless still best to discuss with your outfitter.. If I had taken the grizzly on the gut pile of the moose I took it would be ok.. Watson Lake | |||

yes it is legal but be sure they do not set up a baiting station and move gut pile in better location ... http://www.env.gov.yk.ca/publi...HuntingRegs16-17.pdf Bait means anything placed for luring or attracting wildlife by its sense of smell or taste, but does not include parts of legally taken wildlife not reasonably suitable for human consumption that are located at the place in the field where the harvested animal died. page 20 of our regulations. | |||

please do yourself a favor and ask your booking hunting agent where the outfitters are with their quotas on grizzly before you start you travel otherwise you may found out that you are going for no grizzly ... doesnt mean you will get one but at least you can .... | |||
