| I'd guess .270, 30-06, .330 Win, 30-30, .303 British are rounds that are pretty much available throughout the NWT. Of course if you're coming through Yellowknife and need something more exotic the local shop will direct you to me. If I don't have some, I'll make it. Where are you looking at going, the NWT is a bigger area than Europe?

| Definitely NO Weatherby ammo available anywhere in the NWT except maybe 3 or 4 boxes of .300 in a Yellowknife store, and I have .257, .340 and .460. Cambridge only has the Northern Store (Bay) and the Co-op.

Arctic Survival and Arctic Ventures are the two stores in Iqaluit. Lots of .375 for the whale hunters. Lots of .223 because that's what the Inuit use. Otherwise you nailed it - the common 30 calibres, although don't bet on 30-30. Not much call for them in a treeless land. If you are after muskox check the regs. There is a minimum calibre restriction. |

| I would say 30/06, 7MM Mag., 300 Winchester Mag and 338 Mag, 308 very common calibers used in Canada |
