I'm not so sure about having a health care system. I've been waiting for a back operation for 3 months now. Everything except emergency surgery has been postponed because the Province doesn't have the money. Are they really broke or is it just a way to get more money from the Feds? Who knows. I know my spinal stenosis has damn near made me a house bound cripple and I'm bloody tired of this nonsense. Health care system indeed! Best wishes.

Seems to depend on which province you are in and whether you are in the city or rural, Cal. I've been dealing with the health care systems in two provinces lately (Alberta and Manitoba), one rural situation and one urban, and the difference is like night and day. The politics of the money transfers for health care have gotten completely out of hand though, that's for sure. - Dan
